How to Solve the Interference Problem of the Satellite TV Signal


The satellite terminal includes the antenna, LNB (Low Noise Block), satellite receiver and other devices. The antenna receives the signal and focuses it to LNB. LNB transforms the original signal to C band (3.7GHz to 4.2 GHz) signal or Ku band (11.7 GHz to 12.75 GHz) signal. Then the satellite decodes the signal and output the video and audio stream.
In order to achieve the goal of automatic error correction, the digital TV signal is added with some error correction code and this gives it the function of error proof. Then the signal can deal with the random interference and unexpected interference. However, if the signal receives too strong interference the FEC code cannot help dealing with this problem anymore.
The interference resource has two types, the human resource and the nature resource. The human resource includes the microwave interference and radar wave interference. The natural resource can be the rain, snow and the sun. The microwave interference is always the biggest problem and usually happens in the C band signal. The radar interference is usually caused by military radar or weather radar.
If you want to get rid of the interference resources indicated above, you should read the following instructions.
1.#Find the shielded place. The shielded place is the blind angle of the interference wave. Since the interference wave and the satellite wave all go in a line and will reflex when they meet obstacle. The difference between two types of waves is that the strength of the interference wave is much stronger than the satellite wave. So if you find the right place, the interference will be reflex to somewhere else and then you can receive the pure satellite signal.
2.#Set up the anti - interference net. You can set a net round the antenna in order to prevent the interference's getting in. When you are setting up the net, you should make the net higher than LNB and it could not block the way of satellite signal, too.
3.#Add an anti - interference device on LNB. The anti - interference device can filtrate the microwave and reduce the microwave interference.
4.#Stop using it. When you are using the satellite terminal, you will find that it doesn't work well when it meets rainy day or snowy day. LNB also won't be in good working condition if the antenna is just face the sun. In such condition, you should stop using the satellite terminal.
